On October 25, 2000, the President of the Mexico,
Dr. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León,
delivered the National Award of Exportation 2000 as a RECOGNITION to the men and women that
labor in Agroin for their contribution to the export development of Mexico.
The recognition was received in the name of the employees of Agroindustrias El Alamo,
S.A. de C.V. by Director Rene Loperena at the VIII Congreso Nacional de Exportación in
Mexico City before the presence of Mr. Felipe González former President of Spain, Mr.
Federico Sada, President of the COMCE, and Dr. Herminio Blanco Secretary of Commerce
and Industrial Development of Mexico.
In 1993, the Mexican Government instituted the National Exportation Award. It is
offered annually by the President of Mexico to a company that distinguishes itself
in the innovation of its processes, quality, and its growth in the export sector.
On November 5, 2000, the Executive Committee and associates of Agroindustrias El
Alamo, S.A. de C.V. held a recognition dinner for the employees where each individual
was recognized by the company for their efforts and contribution in earning the award.
It was addressed that the obtaining of the National Exporter Award 2000, was not coincidence,
neither of an alone person, but rather as a result of harmonious relations and
solidarity of a great team of workers, technicians and professionals, as well as
a number of associates on ejido farms that provide the raw materials.
