The active ingredients of our products are fundamentally the steroidal
saponins and the glycocomponents. Both are found in the extract of the Yucca
schidigera.
Steroidal saponins have the property of being tensoactive. They play an
important role in the animal nutrition due to their strong surfactant power.
When they become in contact with the membranes of the cells of the intestinal
wall, they become permeable and permit a better absorption of the nutrients. The
digestion and the utilization of food are vastly improved with the accelerated
microbial activity in the intestinal flora.
The glycocomponents are molecular structures highly thermostable and have the
property of binding the ammonia in the digestive tract and in the metabolic
processes. This neutralizes the harmful effects of ammonia and converts it to
another type of non- toxic nitrogenous compound. The conditions are improved so
that the intestinal flora increments its degrading activity, giving a more
complete digestion.
These components also diminish the ammonia, hydrogen sulfur, and other toxic
gases emitted into the environment that are produced in the process of the
degradation of animal excretion. This benefits the environmental conditions of
the confinement units and brings better conditions for production and improved
productive parameters.
