The president of Mexico Dr. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León
accompanied of Mr. Luis Felipe González ex-president of the
Spanish Government, of Mr. Federico Sada President of the COMCE
and of Dr. Herminio Blanco Secretary of Commerce of Mexico,
delivered the National Prize of Exportation 2000 to Lic. René
A. Loperena, General Director of Agroindustrias The Alamo, S.A. de C.V.
The ceremony was carried out in the framework of the VIII
National Congress of Exportation the past 25 of October of
the 2000 in México City D.F. in which was delivered the National
Prize of Exportation that is the major recognition that the
Mexican government offers to the private sector businesses,
that have contributed with its effort, creativity and constancy,
to the excellence and competitivity of mexican products in the
international market.
In this year corresponded to Agroin to be honored with this
prize, as recognition to its job in product elaboration with the
highest standards of quality, by developing and to implement a
solid quality control system, by the development of technology
for the domesticación of the Yucca schidigera plant, by the
vertical integration of the business and by the development
of products with the backup of national scientific investigation
and foreign, for which was also congratulated for Lic. Vicente Fox Quezada,
chosen President of Mexico and by Mr. Felipe González ex-president of
the Spanish Government presents at the event.
The National Prize of Exportation was instituted for the Mexican
government in 1993 and is offered annually by the President from
Mexico to the Mexican businesses that distinguish it in the innovation
of its processes, quality and its growth in the market of exportation.
The obtaining of the present prize, comes to confirm the recognition
to the consistency and quality of the products elaborated by Agroindustrias
El Alamo, S.A de C.V. and commit us to continue with our mission contents.
