In cattle farming, ammonia is produced by the microorganisms
in the rumen of cattle due to the degradation of the nitrogenated
non-proteic fractions of the feed (urea) that are required for the microbial protein
synthesis. When it is produced in excess, it is absorbed by the
bloodstream, causing problems in the reproduction and yield of the
animals.
The use of Yucca schidigera products in powder form added to cattle
feed lowers the concentration of ammonia in the blood and as a result this
element is not present in the milk, resulting in an increase of the
protein content in milk.
Also, liquid Yucca schidigera extract applied to wash waters of stables
and holding ponds of waste water helps reduce bad odors generated by the
excretions, accelerating the microbial degradation of organic matter.
For use in cattle we recommend BIOPOWDER, BIOPOWDER M, BIOPOWDER M1,
BIOSUPREME G, BIOLIQUID 3000, and BIOSUPREME L
